Big news

This month marks three years since I quit my reliable spa job and started working for myself. Three years of ups and downs, of classes and moving forward, of slowly figuring out what I want to do. In the last few weeks, I've decided on some big next steps:

As of June 1st, Finding Balance is moving.

Not to worry: I'm only moving a mile up the road to 124 Morris Turnpike. Everything is happening fairly quickly. It seems like yesterday I started looking at potential spaces. I had no idea that I would find the perfect new home so quickly (or that it would be available so soon)!

My primary focus over the next two weeks is to make sure everything is set up with you in mind. Over the next few months, I'll be adding small workshops to the calendar (think essential oils, mediation, qigong... As always, with the help of local businesses I love).

With this change will come other small changes. In order to continue delivering the high level of care you are accustomed to, I'm adjusting my prices. This is the first time I've revisited my price structure since opening the business and I don't plan to do it again for the foreseeable future. As of June 1st, prices will change for new clients. The adjustments won't go into affect for returning clients until August 1st. That means from now until August 1st, you can take advantage of old pricing and prepay for as many services as you'd like.

Things that will not be changing:
1. The loyalty program- You all know how much your support means to me and my loyalty program is one of the ways I express my appreciation for that support.
2. My no tipping policy- I appreciate the gesture, but I've given a lot of thought to my prices and do not accept any more.
3. The amenities included in each service- Each session will continue to include a combination of heat packs, warm towels, and essential oils to suit your preferences.

This is starting to feel uncharacteristically long winded for one of my newsletters, so I'm going to wrap it up. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out. I'll be holding an open house (tentatively Saturday the 3rd) to give everyone a chance to look around.

I don't know that I have the words to properly thank you all. Because of you, I get to do what I love. I promise to continue doing my best for each of you.

Thank you always,

Amy
