MYOFASCIAL RELEASE (MFR)

Myofascial release is a type of medical massage that focuses on the connective tissue. If you're in chronic pain, stuck at a desk job, or beating yourself up at the gym, you'll be able to benefit from the looser muscles and increased range of motion myofascial release can offer. It uses slow, sustained pressure along with patient stretching to diminish stored tension and painful body patterns like TMJ disfunction (jaw pain), headaches, migraines, and old injuries. Maybe you're not sure if you'd like MFR or a traditional Swedish massage. Maybe you have a specific issue that's bothering you, but you would also like a relaxing massage. This is the service for you! MFR+ starts with 30-40 minutes of myofascial work focused on your specific trouble spots. The remainder of the service is spent with more familiar Swedish or deep tissue massage. This service includes a combination of organic massage oil, heat packs, warm towels, and therapeutic grade essential oils.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

Swedish massage is a great way to relax the mind while easing muscle fatigue. Longer, sweeping strokes are used to loosen tense muscles. 

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep tissue massage is more vigorous than Swedish massage and is a great way to relieve pain from stored muscle tension. Elbows and forearms are used to give firmer pressure.
